Kathmandu Valley is a living museum of Himalayan civilization and culture. After exploration of Kathmandu and its ancient courtyards, temples and bustling markets and gain a taste of the remarkable cultural heritage and colorful bazaars, you will take beautiful drives to Nagarkot and Dhulikhel to experience the hikes and breathtaking views of the Himalaya.
Brief Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1400m): Pick up at airport, transfer to Hotel. D

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu: World Heritage sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Soyambhunath and Patan. B

Day 03: Visit World Heritage site of Bhaktapur / over night at Nagarkot (2100m). B

Day 04: Short hike in the morning, then drive to Dhulikhel (1550m). B

Day 05: Short hike, then drive to Kathmandu: Visit World Heritage sites of Boudhnath and Pashupatinath. B

Day 06: Depart from Kathmandu: Transfer to airport. B
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1400m): Upon arrival at International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will receive and escort you to hotel.
Meal: Dinner

Day 02: Visit three UNESCO World Heritage site:  The rich tapestry of the cultural heritage of Nepal is synthesized in Kathmandu Valley, representing elegant architecture, refined culture, colorful bazaars and simple hospitable people.

Walk through the colorful local Bazaar to Kathmandu Durbar Square. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site - Kathmandu Durbar Square is a cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards and streets that date back to the 12th and 18th centuries. The square is known to be the social, religious and urban focal point of the Capital City. You will also see Kumari House, where the Living Goddess of Nepal resides.

Then visit the Soyambhunath stupa on a hillock over looking Kathmandu valley. Well known as ‘Monkey Temple’ the golden spire crowning, Soyambhunath is the most ancient and mystical of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu valley. After lunch, visit Patan Durbar Square - the first city of Nepal. The city is believed to be the first settlement in the Valley and famous for its amazing collection of fantastically carved temples and palace courtyards.

Day 03: Visit Bhaktapur / over night at Nagarkot (2100m): After breakfast, drive to Bhaktapur for sightseeing tour to UNESCO World Heritage Site of  Bhaktapur Durbar square. Bhaktapur, meaning the "city of devotees" lies 14 km east of Kathmandu. It is the home of medieval art & architecture and still retains its rich medieval aroma. A city of farmers, Bhaktapur is also known for its pottery and weaving. The intricately carved temples, alleyways and timeless atmosphere of this place are simply fascinating. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is located in the center of Bhaktapur. The Square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights some of the finest medieval arts of Nepal.

From Bhaktapur, a beautiful drive will take you to Nagarkot. The sunrise viewed from this hill present you the ever-refreshing memory of the majestic panoramic view of the Himalayas.

Day 04: Hike to Telkot / drive to Dhulikhel (1550m): Take a short drive to Nagarkot tower, and then take a short hike through beautiful forest. After hike, a beautiful drive of about 1 ½ hour will take you to Dhulikhel – a beautiful town located at eastern rim of Kathmandu valley.  Dhulikhel boasts as a major touristic destination with attractions that range from natural scenario to cultural and historical elements. After lunch you can explore the town on your own or just relax at hotel.

Day 05: Return to Kathmandu / short hike and visit Baudhanath and Pashupatinath: After breakfast take a short hike to Kali temple on a hilltop. Breathtaking 360⁰ panoramic views are seen from the temple. On the way back to Kathmandu, visit World Heritage sites Boudhanath and Pashupatinath. Boudhanath is one of the world’s largest Buddhist sputa and a site of great veneration and Tibetan cultural. Visit Tibetan monastery and painting school. Then visit the temple of Pashupatinath – the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath. Situated at the holy river Bgmati,  Aryaghat of Pashupati is the most sacred and popular cremation site of Nepal.

Day 06: Depart from Kathmandu: Transfer to Kathmandu Airport.
