Kathmandu Valley is a living museum of Himalayan civilization and culture. After exploration of Kathmandu, a scenic drive will take you to Bandipur – an enchanting mountain town. Then stay 2 nights at Lake City Pokhara to enjoy the hikings at the foothills of the Himalayas, breathtaking sights of the Himalayas rising high above the cloud line and explore colorful lake side. Then you will heads towards south and stop a night at Tansen, another mountain town rich in culture. Explore the birth place of Buddha and Peace Garden before heading towards Chitwan National Park.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu: Upon arrival at International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will receive and escort you to hotel. Evening, trip briefing followed by dinner.

Day 02: Sightseeing to three UNESCO sites of Kathmandu valley:  The rich tapestry of the cultural heritage of Nepal is synthesized in Kathmandu, representing elegant architecture, refined culture, colorful bazaars and simple hospitable people.

Begin the day with visitising the UNESCO site of Patan Durbar Square (palace square). The ancient name of Patan is Lalitpur, meaning city of beauty. The city is believed to be the first settlement in the Valley and famous for its amazing collection of fantastically carved temples and palace courtyards. You can also visit Nepali Handicraft Shop in Patan for authentic Nepali souvenirs. Then walk to famouse local market of Ason followed by another UNESCO site of Soyambhunath stupa on a hillock over looking Kathmandu valley. Well known as ‘Monkey Temple’ the golden spire crowning, Soyambhunath is the most ancient and mystical of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu valley.
Note: Today you will have an option of early morning Everest flight flying along the Himalayan ranges.

Day 03: Sightseeing to three UNESCO sites of Kathmandu valley: After breakfast, drive to Bhaktapur, home of medieval art and architecture and known as the “City of Devotees.” The UNESCO sites of Bhaktapur Durbar Square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights some of the finest medieval arts of Nepal. Then visit Boudhanath, possibly the world’s largest Buddhist stupa and a site of great veneration and Tibetan cultural. Visit Tibetan monastery and painting school. Finally, visit one of the most important Hind temples of the world known as Pashupatinath –the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath. Situated at the holy river Bgmati,  Aryaghat of Pashupati is the most sacred and popular cremation site of Nepal.

Day 04: Drive to Bandipur (4 hours drive): Known as of the most beautiful mountain town of Nepal – Bandipur is about 4 hours’ drive from Kathmandu. It is a beautiful scenic drive when you can experience natural beauty and Nepalese way of life. Stop at Highway restaurant for drinks and using bathroom. After check in and lunch at typical hotel in Bandipur, hike to surrounding hills and villages. There is option of just relax enjoying the views from the hotel or explore the unique hill town on your own.

Day 05: Drive to Pokhara (3 hours drive): A scenic drive passing through several small towns and farm lands will take you to Lake City Pokhara where an eye opening views of Himalayas welcome you. Nestled beneath the Himalayas, the lush natural beauty of Pokhara contrasts with Fewa Lake and Mountain View. Because of its tranquil lakes, natural beauty and superb scenery, Pokhara is the most popular holiday destination for Nepali.

After lunch, visit to International Mountain Museum. Then walk around Lake side.

Day 06: After breakfast, hike to Peace Pagoda. The hike start after crossing the lake on a open boat. It is about 1 hour 15 minutes uphill through forest. An excellent views of lake, Pokhara valley and mountain are from the Pagoda. After enjoying the views from the Pagoda, a short hike of about 45 minutes to Dam side, then a short drive will bring you to Pokhara. Afternoon spend time in leisure, doing ayurvedic massage or exploring colorful lakeside.

Day 07: Early morning, take a short drive to Sarangkot for the stunning views of the Himalayas. After breakfast, drive to Tansen which takes about 4 hours scenic drive. Situated at the lap of Srinagar Hill, Tansen is a beautiful summer resorts of Nepal. The place is famous for its cultural heritage and traditions. The Newars are the people who painstakingly enriched the architecture and culture of Tansen, and this very fact can be witnessed even today. After lunch, you will do a pleasant walk to Srinagar Hill and colorful Tansen Bazaar. The walk is about 2 hours which offers spectacular views of mountains and valleys. There is option of just relax enjoying the views from the hotel or explore the colorful town on your own.

Day 08: Drive to Lumbini (3 hours drive): After check in hotel and lunch, visit Maya Devi Temple, Asoka pillar, monasteries and Peace Stupa.

Lumbini is the place where the Buddha (enlightened one) was born. It is the place which should be visited and seen by a peace loving person and which should cause awareness and understanding of the nature of impermanence. The Buddha’s teachings of existence of suffering and the way out of the suffering are as applicable today as it was applicable then.

Day 09 / 10: Drive to Chitwan National Park (3 ½ hour’s drive): After breakfast you leave for Chitwan National Park. It is a beautiful drive through scenic flat fertile land of Tarai in southern Nepal. You will stay two nights at Chitwan village at the border of Chitwan National Park. This two days Chitwan package at the jungle resort includes different activities such as jungle walk or drive, village visit, boating in Rapti River, culture show etc.

Chitwan National Park is the first national park of Nepal established in 1973 to preserve a unique ecosystem significantly valuable to the whole world. The park is UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the last populations of one-horned Asiatic rhinoceros and home of the Bengal tiger.

Day 11: Return to Kathmandu (5 hours scenic drive)
