Day 12: Drive to Shigatse (3900m) 90 kms: Visit Kumbum and Tashilumpu. BLD

Day 13: Drive to Lhasa (3600m) 250 kms: Free afternoon to explore Lhasa on your own. BLD

Day 14: Depart from Lhasa: Transfer to airport for onward destination. B

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu in the afternoon: Upon arrival at International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will receive and escort you to hotel. Meal: D

Day 02: Guided sightseeing in Kathmandu:
The rich tapestry of the cultural heritage of Nepal is synthesized in Kathmandu Valley, representing elegant architecture, refined culture, colorful bazaars and simple hospitable people.

Visit the Soyambhunath stupa on a hillock over looking Kathmandu valley. Well known as ‘Monkey Temple’ the golden spire crowning, Soyambhunath is the most ancient and mystical of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu valley. Then visit Patan - the first city of Nepal. The ancient name of Patan is Lalitpur, meaning city of beauty. The city is believed to be the first settlement in the Valley and famous for its amazing collection of fantastically carved temples and palace courtyards. You can also visit Nepali Handicraft Shop in Patan Industrial Zone for authentic Nepali souvenirs. Late afternoon, you’ll visit Boudhanath, possibly the world’s largest Buddhist stupa and a site of great veneration and Tibetan cultural. Visit Tibetan monastery and painting school. Day 03: Fly to Pokhara: Today you will take an eye opening flight to Pokhara - the city of tranquil lakes, natural beauty and superb scenery. The rare combinations of snow clad peaks and snow fed lakes and rivers have helped to make the valley of Pokhara one of the most picturesque and natural attractions in the country. Situated on the foothills of the magnificent, Mt. Macchapuchre, Pokhara valley (900m) is an enchanting city. Visit Peace Pagoda and International Mountain Museum in the afternoon. Meal: B

Day 04: Sightseeing in Pokhara: Take a short drive to Naudanda in the morning for outstanding panoramic views of Himalaya. Hike Naudada – Kaskikot – Naudanda. It is about 3 hours’ short and pleasant hike which offers superb views and glimpses of village life. If you do not want to hike, just enjoy the views from Naudanda. In afternoon, visit Gupteswore cave, Davi’s Fall and Tibetan Refugee camp and boating on Fewa Lake. Meal: B

Day 05: Drive to Chitwan National Park: Early morning, after breakfast you will leave for Chitwan National Park. It is about four and half hours beautiful drive through scenic Trisuli gorge and flat fertile land of Tarai in southern Nepal.

You will stay two nights at Chitwan village at the border of Chitwan National Park. This two days Chitwan package provides different jungle activities such as jungle safari, boat ride, jungle walk, bird watching, tribal dance program, visiting tribal Tharu village etc. The activities will be in group. Overnight at Jungle Lodge. Meal: B

Day 07: Drive to Kathmandu: 5 hours scenic drive. Overnight at Hotel. Meal: B

Day 08: Fly to Gongar / drive to Lhasa (3650m) 60 kms: The adventure starts with an eye-opening flight flying over Himalayas. You will be met at Gonggar Airport by your Tibetan guide. It takes around 1 hour from airport to reach Holy City of Lhasa. In the afternoon you will have time to walk at Bharkhor area. Barkhor Street is the Tibetan people's prides. Located in the old area of Lhasa City, the Barkhor Street is a very ancient as well as the most representative street surrounding the Jokhang Temple, served as a trading and religious center. On this day, we advised you to take it easy and avoid exertion for acclimatization. Overnight at Hotel. Meal: BLD

Day 09: Sightseeing in Lhasa: After breakfast, your guide will take you on a tour to Drepung Monastery, Norbulingka and Jokhang temple. At the famous Drepung Monastery, you will get an insight into the important aspects of Tibetan Buddhism. It is the biggest monastic university of Lhasa, housing 7,700 monks in its heyday. You pay a visit to Norbulingka, the summer retreat of the Dalai Lama. Completed in 1956, the handsome building is ornately decorated with Tibetan carvings and paintings. Jokhang temple provides yet another glimpse of the rich Tibetan cultural heritage. It is the holiest shrine of Tibet situated in the heart of Lhasa. You will also get the chance to stroll around the busy Barkhor Square, the nerve centre of Lhasa. After the day’s tour, you will be escorted back to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel. Meal: BLD

Day 10: Sightseeing in Lhasa: You will be escorted by your guide to the majestic Potala Palace. The imposing structure of the palace dominates the landscape of Lhasa. As you are guided through the ancient chambers of the palace, you get to see Tibetan art at its best. The Potala Palace has a vast array of intricate Tibetan murals and beautiful statues. You will also get to view the tombs of the eight Dalai Lamas. Later in the day you will visit the beautifully Sera Monastery where you can observe monks debating and performing religious discourses. After the day’s tour is over, you are escorted back to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel. Meal: BLD

Day 11: Drive to Gyantse (3950m) 260 kms: Moving along the Friendship Highway, you drive past Khamba La, at 4794 meter, with a brief halt to savor majestic views of Yamdrok-tso Lake. Known as Turquoise Lake, Yamdroktso (4500m), one of Tibet’s three holy lakes, is located 110km outside of Lhasa. In the fresh morning air, you’re on the way to this lake. It’s mostly mountain road, winding and bumpy, even thrilling somewhat. After about 3 1/2 hours’ driving, climbing over the snow pass of Kambala(5030m), the dazzling Yamdroktso just lies several hundred meters below the road, and in clear weather is a fabulous shade of deep turquoise. Far in the distance is the huge massif of Mt. Nojin Kangtsang(7191m).After down from the mountain, there’s about 30km road along lakeside, with barley fields on the other side of the road. A nice walk by the lakeside can be a great joy. Leaving Yamdroktso is as spectacular as arriving, since you’ll cross the 5045m Karola, with its awesome roadside views of the Nojin Kangtsang Glacier.With the Glacier scene still exciting you, after about 90km, you get to Gyantse. There stands the 35m-high famous Kumbum, packed with exquisite Tibetan sculpture and paintings, a stunning architectural wonder in Tibet. Overnight at Hotel. Meal: BLD

Day 12: Drive to Shigatse (3900m) 90 kms: Gyantse prides on Gyantse Dzong and Kumbum. Gyantse Dzong, a 14th century historical fort, overlooks the entire Gyantse and the surrounding Nyang Chu Valley. Kumbum has a large gold-domed stupa and houses several chapels and Tibetan Buddhist murals. After exploring Gyantse, you take a 90 km drive and arrive at Shigatse, (3900m) the second largest Tibetan city. After lunch, visit Tashilumpu Monastery. Founded in 1447, Tashilumpu Monastery is a historic and culturally important monastery in Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet. Overnight at Hotel.BLD

Day 13: Drive to Lhasa (3600m) 250 kms: Today you will be driven back to Lhasa along the legendary Yalugzangbu River, the mother river of Tibet. You will reach Lhasa for lunch. After lunch you will have free time for wandering the town on your own. Overnight at Hotel. BLD

Day 14: Depart Lhasa: After breakfast, transfer to airport for your onward journey. B
